Prof. Hyung Ham (David) Kim
Hyung Ham Kim received his Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA in 2010. He worked as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California and Manager of the NIH Resource Center for Medical Ultrasonic Transducer Technology until he joined Analogic Inc., Peabody, MA in 2014. At Analogic, he led the research solutions business as a Director of Business Development by 2016. He is currently an Associate Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Convergence IT Engineering, and School of Convergence Science and Technology at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Pohang, Korea. His current research includes high-frequency array transducers for high-resolution ultrasound imaging, cell mechanics studies using acoustic tweezers, and industrial applications of high-frequency ultrasound.

Dasom Heo
Dasom Heo is currently in an MS/Ph.D. integrated program in Mechanical Engineering at POSTECH, South Korea. She received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at POSTECH, South Korea in 2017. She is interested in the fluidics, biomedical high-frequency ultrasound application, and stimulated application of the ultrasound. She develops miniaturized ultrasound transducers which size is under 1 mm.

John Claud Jonas
John Claud Jonas received his B.S. in Computer Engineering and IT from The United African University of Tanzania (UAUT), Dar es salaam, Tanzania in 2019. He further received his MS in Human-Computer Interaction at Handong Global University, Pohang, South Korea by 2023. He is currently a MS-Ph.D. candidate in Creative IT Engineering at POSTECH.

Hae Gyun Lim
Hae Gyun Lim received his B.S. degree in biochemistry from University of California, Los Angeles, CA in 2010. He obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in biomedical engineering from University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA in 2014 and 2017, respectively. From 2013 through 2017, he was a Research Assistant for the NIH Resource Center for Medical Ultrasonic Transducer Technology. Dr. Lim worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate for the Future IT Innovation Laboratory and a Research Assistant Professor of Creative IT Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Pohang, Korea until 2021. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Pukyong National University, Busan, Korea. His research interests include ultrasonic transducers, cell mechanics, HIFU treatment, ultrasound imaging, and high-frequency ultrasound microbeams.
Hyunhee Kim
Hyunhee Kim completed her B.S. degree in Electronic Communication Engineering at Hanyang University and M.S. degree in School of Interdisciplinary Bioscience and Bioengineering at POSTECH in 2021. She is now pursuing her Ph.D. degree at the Department of Convergence IT Engineering at POSTECH.
Kyungmin Kim
Kyungmin Kim completed his MS-Ph.D. degrees in the Creative IT Engineering Department at POSTECH, South Korea. He received his B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering at Kyungpook National University, South Korea, in 2016. He has interested in piezoelectric material, biochip, signal processing, and biomedical ultrasound application.
Jeongwoo Park
Jeongwoo Park completed his MS-Ph.D. degree in School of Interdisciplinary Bioscience and Bioengineering at POSTECH and completed his double-B.S. in Electronic Engineering at Kyungpook National University and Warsaw University of Technology. Jeongwoo Park is a post-doctoral research associate at the Convergence IT Engineering at POSTECH.
Jinhee Yoo
Jinhee Yoo completed his MS-PhD in School of Interdisciplinary Bioscience and Bioengineering at POSTECH and completed his B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ajou University. Jinhee Yoo worked as a Post-doctoral research associate at the Electrical Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Pohang, Korea until 2024.
Jinhyuk Kim
Jinhyuk Kim obtained his Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from Kwangwoon University, Seoul, in 2023. Dr. Kim worked as a Post-doctoral research associate at the Electrical Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), Pohang, Korea until 2024. His research interests include ultrasound transducer, therapeutic ultrasound, high-power ultrasound, acoustic cavitation.
Honghyeon Ha
Honghyeon Ha received a B.S. degree in Industrial Convergence at Korea Polytechnic University, Siheung, Republic of Korea in 2021. He obtained his M.S. in the Department of Convergence IT Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology, in 2024. He is involved in stem cell evaluation based on mechanical properties using single-beam acoustic tweezers and the development of acoustic-optical dual-mode tweezers based on transparent ultrasonic transducers.
